How to freeze or unfreeze your Visa card

How to freeze or unfreeze your Visa card
Sometimes you need to put your card on pause — maybe you can’t find it, you want to stop spending temporarily, or you simply want extra peace of mind. Freezing your card is a quick and reversible action you can take yourself directly from the portal, without needing to contact support.

How to freeze your card
Go to the Cards section of your dashboard. You will see your card displayed along with its current status and balance. Select the card you want to manage, then choose the Freeze option from the card actions menu.
Once confirmed, your card will be suspended immediately. Any new payment attempts — whether in-store, online, or contactless — will be declined while the card is frozen. Recurring payments and direct debits may also be affected, so keep this in mind before freezing.

How to unfreeze your card
Unfreezing is just as simple. Return to the Cards section, select your frozen card, and choose Unfreeze. Your card will be reactivated immediately and ready for use.

When should I freeze my card?
Freezing is a good option when you want to pause card activity temporarily — for example, if you have misplaced your card but expect to find it soon. If you believe your card has been lost or stolen and is at risk of fraud, please contact our support team immediately so we can assist with a more permanent solution.

Important things to know
Freezing your card does not affect your IBAN account or any other payment methods on your account. It applies to card transactions only. Your card balance remains untouched while frozen — funds are not moved or affected in any way.
