Proof of Address: accepted documents and verification rules
As part of the account verification process, you may be asked to provide proof of your residential address. This helps us comply with Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements.
To be accepted, your document must show your residential address and meet the requirements described below.
Accepted proof of address documents
The following document categories are accepted if they were issued within the last 3 months.

| Government documents | Government statements, voter registration documents, tax bills and other government-issued documents |
| Utility documents | Utility bills, telecom provider bills and other utility-related documents |
| Banking documents | Bank statements, bank letters and other banking documents, including statements issued by neobanks |
Documents issued by digital-only banks (neobanks) are accepted. There is currently no restricted list of approved providers.

Although lease agreements, university letters and mobile operator statements exist as document types in our verification system, they are not currently accepted as proof of address.
Country and language requirements
Proof of address documents are accepted from all countries and territories.
Documents are also accepted in all languages. There is currently no requirement for the country shown on your proof of address to match the country on your identity document.
